Hall Scream + Ice Cream

We were on our way down 9th to relieve some stress on Friday so I thought I'd snap a pic! It's been a pleasure getting to know the residents and I think they are having a decent experience - there seems to be some mixed emotions, so be sure to continue checking on your student!

Birthday Treats

I am more than happy to coordinate with you to make your students birthday special for them on campus! If you are interested in celebrating, just give me a call/text and let me know if you need ideas! Pincho Loco is a great ice cream shop that will accept payment over the phone and I can just pick up the goodies!

Hall Snack

Thank you, Geideman family, for providing hall snack for the first week of school. Don't forget if you'd like to contribute you can sign up here. We would appreciate individually packaged food when possible, but as long as I can pass it out, it will be acceptable. We look forward to you supporting our community in this way!

Fun Facts + Schedules

Sunday when our seniors returned to hall, we spent more time doing icebreakers and talking about classes. We even colored in our schedules together right outside of my apartment in the hallway.

Our 1st Inter-hall | More Icebreakers

Inter-hall Activities: Any hall-specific activity with one or more hall communities involved.

During orientation week, students spent a lot of time in front of computer screens. Although it rained the night we went out to play games, all residents seemed to have enjoyed themselves. Although they may look close in these pictures, they have been working to understand what six feet of distance really feels like and were cooperative whenever we asked them to space out some more!

Sibling Hall: 2nd East

Our sibling hall this year is Hunt, 2nd East. Sibling halls are randomly paired by the RLA Coordinators at the beginning of the year and often times do programs together. The goal is that the students on their assigned hall are able to build connections across buildings. Although CC's do plan programs on their own with their colleagues, this gives the students something to look forward to. BBRR halls are typically paired with HH halls.

The students played virtual icebreakers before this ice cream social and that allowed them to get to know one another. In most of these pictures, they are socializing and playing a "human" bingo!
