Cohort B Move-In

I am so excited to welcome Cohort B juniors on Friday, 10/9 and the seniors on Sunday, 10/11! I know you all are going to make this a great community. Be sure to reference the NCSSM Move-In + Orientation Site for additional details.

Cohort A Move-Out

Most of the hall is leaving on Thursday and we have some more students leaving on Friday. When you move out, be sure you don't leave anything. You should turn in your RCR, keys, and access pass to the student life representative sitting at Bryan desk. You should also turn in your clamshell (the green thing you take to the PFM). It has been great having you on campus and I hope you enjoy fall break!

Our Last Few "Events"

I wanted to make cohort A's last few days on campus memorable. I invited them for popcorn on Sunday night and on Wednesday, I blasted some tunes while they (..well,I thought they would be) packing their rooms.

Hall Ideas + Crafts

During the 2020 presidential debate, I invited students to talk about what their visions were for the USA. I love nurturing students imaginations and encouraging them to think outside of what we've been given. Based on their ideas, I think the future is in good hands :)

Games w Greynolds

Students gathered in the ETC to play games with one another! They seemed like they had a good time!

Lounge Study Time

Although there are times when students are isolated on campus because being in their rooms with their masks off is more comfortable, there are also times they decide to congregate in the lounge to study. I've been able to be there many nights a week to work alongside students as well!

3rd Bryan + 3rd Beall "Block Party"

On a rainy evening, the students decided they wanted to go outside. There was a great turnout and the students really seemed to enjoy the program.

*Masks were only off when students were eating/drinking. Students maintained their distance; these photos were taken as the students were moving around under the tent!
