2B + 3B Scavenger Hunt
Inter-hall Activity
On Saturday, about 5 folks came out for the 2nd and 3rd Bryan scavenger hunt. The program seemed to be a lot of fun and our winners (one from each hall) received a Jamba gift card so they can walk down 9th on Friday to get two large smoothies (one a piece) and continue getting to know one another!
Fishbowl with 2E
On Friday, we played fishbowl (for about an hour) with 2nd East (our sibling hall. After I got my technical difficulties out of the way, it was a great time for all involved. I enjoyed watching the students interact, and I hope we are able to do it again, soon!
Scary Dinos
On Wednesday, Faith (RLA) held a program entitled "Scary Dinos" to allow our residents to explore our fears and talk about the coping mechanisms that work for us when it comes to navigating those fears. She did a great job at facilitating the conversation. Our virtual RLAs (Madelyne + Brittany) held the same program online for our cohort B + fully remote students the day prior and it was great, too!
In My Shoes
During this virtual program, students had a chance to learn about and share their social location. It was beautiful to hear the range of experiences we have here and to see the connections being formed as people bonded over their social identities. It was equally beautiful to hear them begin to acknowledge the importance of knowing our privileges and understanding our identity in terms of the social world!
